After taking my first yoga class back in 2001, I was astonished at how peaceful I felt afterwards. I remember peeling myself off my mat and walking out of class with a lighter heart and a calmer mind. From that moment on I practiced daily and ventured into various styles of yoga.

I stumbled upon Power Yoga and Vinyasa Flow in 2002 while in New York pursuing my Stott Pilates certification. I was instantly hooked. Shortly thereafter I decided to take a Power Yoga Teacher Training with Baron Baptiste in Tulum, Mexico that same year.

I continued my training under Bryan Kest in 2005 where I completed his 200 hour teacher training program. Two years later, I trained under Rusty Wells who introduced Bhakti Yoga and Kirtan to my teaching.

I am so honored to have recently completed the 300 hour Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training program under co-founders Sharon Gannon and David Life at the Omega Institute (Rhinebeck, New York) in April 2014. I am also very blessed to have been mentored under Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, Giselle Mari. I will continue my Jivamukti Yoga journey this October as I pursue my 800 hour Apprenticeship Program with Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, Keith Kempis in Sydney, Australia.
