Very much into sports, health, and wellness, Kim fell in love with Bikram Yoga back in 2008. During her dedication to the practice, Kim placed 3rd in the 3rd Annual Philippine Yoga Asana Regional Championship in November 2010. What started off as a hobby, Kim began to realize yoga was truly a passion more than anything else. Kim pursued other styles of yoga and cross-trained between Bikram and Vinyasa Yoga in 2010-2011. In November 2011, Kim wanted to deepen her knowledge on yoga and share her passion with others by completing Bliss Yoga’s 200 Hour Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training and Certification as outlined by Yoga Alliance which includes techniques, teaching methodology, anatomy, physiology, philosophy, ethics and lifestyle. The learning process didn’t stop there for Kim though. She has since completed a 30-hour intensive Annie Carpenter Smart Flow Workshop at Urban Ashram Manila in April 2012; a Kids Yoga Certification last July 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand; and recently completed Absolute Yoga’s Hot Yoga Certification in April 2014.
Finding balance between teaching yoga and her finance job, Kim knows that at the end of the day, yoga is her one true love. She wants to spread yoga and wellness love to the world and be able to contribute something good in her little ways.
